Cy5 is a cyanine-containing fluorochrome.1 It has commonly been conjugated to secondary antibodies for use in immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. Cy5 displays excitation/emission maxima of 650/670 nm, respectively.
