DAB Away

Contamination with diaminobenzidine (DAB) residue can be a problem that may affect staining quality on automated immunohistochemistry stainers. In most cases, bleach simply reduces the color intensity; whereas, DAB Away removes the residual DAB stain that may clog instrument probes and tubing. This three-component kit will prepare 250 milliliters of cleaning solution. DAB Away is designed to work on Biocare’s Nemesis™, and intelliPATH™ automated stainers. DAB Away can also be used with Dako’s Autostainer, Autostainer Plus and Autostainer Plus Link instruments as well as Lab Vision’s Autostainer™ 360, 480 and 720 models.
