HL60 Antigen Antibody (IPO-M6) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-HL60 Antigen antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-HL60 Antigen antibody, including PE, FITC. Leukocytes, or white blood cells, are cells that form an important component of the blood. They are produced in the bone marrow and function as part of the immune system to defend the body against infectious disease and foreign materials, and they are also produced in abundance in the lymphatic system, the spleen and other body tissues. Leukocytes can be subclassified into several different types of cells, such as erythroid cells, which give rise to erythrocytes; macrophage subset cells, which are large leukocytes; endothelial cells, which express leukocyte-specific cell-adhesion molecules; and granulocytes, which can be further classified as either neutrophils, eosinophils or basophils. Leukemia is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow that usually leads to an abnormal proliferation of leukocytes. Specific antigens expressed on sets and subsets of leukocytes may aid in the identification of these types of cells.
