Protein A binds to immunoglobulin G and M of many mammalian species. The product is chemically linked Protein A to beaded Agarose through a stable covalent linkage. The immobilized Protein A on the Agarose beads could be utilized for immunoprecipitation and purification of both polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies from mammalian species.
